Hello I Just Purchased A 10,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner From Everstar. I Noticed And The Remote
say's you can set it on energy saving. but when i click on the economy button i here just a beep but nothing to indicate to me that it's running on energy saving. can anyone help me??
There are probably a few Energy Saving methods used but the most common one I see is this:
In Cooling mode the fan will stay on to circulate the air after the target temperature has been reached and the compressor shuts off. The fan will run continuously.
In Energy Saving mode both the fan and compressor shut off after reaching the desire temperature and stay off until the thermostat reads a few degrees above the target temp and start up again.
